Where: Hans-Sachs-Str. 8, D-80469 München
Food: Indian kitchen. For Germans the name “Palast der Winde” (palace of the winds) sounds funny and reminds the kind of winds you will produce after eating spicy Indian food 😀 The menu even shows vegetarian and vegan food options. However, almost everything that is originally not vegan can be made vegan upon request! I was never in India, however lots of Indians visit this place, so it must be good 😊
I took Dal Soup (Indian lentil soup) as a starter. This Dal was different from other Dals I am used to eat. However still yummy. As main we took Palak Tofu (spinach with tofu), vegetable korma (fresh vegetables in saffron almond sauce – rather sweet taste), Bhartha (traditional eggplant dish, cooked in clay oven with onions and tomatoes, and last but not least Alu Chana Masala (chickpeas in curry with fresh tomatoes, ginger and onions). I must say that all 4 main dishes were super delicious!
Atmosphere: Typical Indian restaurant. Good for families, couples and friends. Even possible to be there with bigger friend groups.
